These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.chimbonetwork.com, the CHIMBONETWORK Marketplace, the CHIMBONETWORK Truck Portal, dashboards and related services provided by CHIMBONETWORK GROUP ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Services
CHIMBONETWORK GROUP provides ICT, trade and logistics services. The Marketplace and Truck Portal help buyers, sellers, shippers and transporters find and deal with each other. Unless we expressly agree in writing to act as a party, supplier or carrier, any contract for goods or transport is between the users involved.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into binding agreements.
- Information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password secure.
- One account may hold several account types. Do not create accounts for other people without their authority.
3. Verification
We may ask you to submit verification documents before you can use certain features. A Verified badge means our team reviewed the documents provided at the time of review. It is not a guarantee of a user's performance, goods or services. You must not submit false, altered or someone else's documents.
4. Marketplace
- Listings must describe genuine, lawful commodities, processed goods or minerals, with accurate quantities, quality, prices and locations.
- Listings are reviewed before publication. We may decline, suspend or remove any listing.
- Quotations are offers between buyer and seller. Buyers should confirm quality, documentation and delivery terms before paying.
- Prohibited items include illegal, stolen, counterfeit or restricted goods, and minerals traded without the required licences.
- Report suspicious listings using the Report option on the listing page.
5. Truck Portal
- Shippers must describe cargo accurately and declare any hazardous, fragile or high-value goods.
- Transporters must hold valid licences, vehicle registration, insurance and permits for every truck and driver they use.
- Rates, loading dates and delivery terms are agreed between the shipper and the transporter.
- Status updates, tracking information and proof of delivery must be accurate and uploaded promptly.
6. ICT Projects, Orders and Payments
- ICT projects are delivered under the proposal, quotation or agreement accepted by the client.
- Invoices must be paid within the agreed timelines. Prices may be shown in TZS or USD; the invoice currency applies.
- Deliverables created by CHIMBONETWORK GROUP remain our intellectual property until full payment is received, after which the agreed rights transfer to the client.
7. Prohibited Conduct
- Fraud, misrepresentation or impersonation
- Uploading malware or attempting to access accounts, data or systems without permission
- Harassment, spam or misuse of other users' contact details
- Posting reviews that are false or written for your own business
- Using the Services in breach of any law, including export, customs, mining and transport laws
8. Content and Reviews
You keep ownership of content you upload and allow us to host, display and process it to operate the Services. Ratings and reviews must reflect genuine experiences. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or close accounts, withdraw verification or remove content where these Terms are breached, where we suspect fraud, or where required by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, CHIMBONETWORK GROUP is not liable for losses arising from transactions between users, for goods or cargo we do not handle, or for indirect or consequential losses.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
